What is raw hair?

Raw hair typically refers to human hair that has not undergone any chemical processing, such as dyeing, perming, or bleaching. This hair is typically collected from a single donor, ensuring that the cuticles are aligned and intact.

What is the difference between raw hair and virgin hair?

Raw hair and virgin hair are often used interchangeably, but there can be some subtle differences between the two. Raw hair refers to hair that has not undergone any chemical processing whatsoever. It is in its most natural state, directly collected from the donor. Virgin hair also refers to hair that has not been chemically processed, but it may have undergone some minimal processing such as washing and sanitizing before being sold. Raw hair is typically unaltered and may include varying textures, lengths, and colors even within a single bundle while virgin hair may be sorted to ensure consistency in texture, length, and color within each bundle.

Where is your hair sourced from?

Our hair is sourced from South Indian Temples.

How long does the hair last?

With proper care, hair can last 3-5yrs.

How many bundles will I need? 

 It all depends on your personal preference of how full you like your hair. Longer lengths do require more bundles to achieve a fuller look. Our suggestions are:

  • 14"-16" = 2-3 bundles
  • 18"-22" = 3-4 bundles
  • 24" and above = 4-5 bundles

Can the hair be bleached/dyed?

Yes! S.T. Luxe Hair can be bleached up to #613.  Please consult a professional to lower the risk of ruining your hair.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Once your order is processed, there is a mandatory 72-96 hour processing period. Once your order is processed, shipping can take 2-4 business days after the processing period. 

Can I return the hair if I am unhappy with it?

All items are packed with extra care and attention to ensure they arrive in the best condition.

  • If you are unhappy with the quality of the hair, please  contact customer service at info@stluxehair.com within 7 days of receiving your order.  
  • Returned items  MUST be unused with seals affixed AND in its original packaging. Proof of purchase required.
  • Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once completed. Please check all details before placing your order as exchanges are only permitted for items that are received as a mistake on our behalf. Exchanged items MUST also be unused with seals affixed and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase required. 
  • For exchanges, please contact customer service at info@stluxehair.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Once we receive your item, you will be notified of receipt. You will also be contacted and provided with a tracking number once your new item has been shipped.
